The "Sleeping Pokemon" is seen in nearly every mainline Pokemon, has notable appearances in the manga, animated show, and spin-off Pokemon games such as Pokemon Snap. Snorlax is one of the most traveled Pokemon out there. While not nearly the same size as this Pokemon Thailand plush, the Build-A-Bear version did include a pair of pajamas to hammer home the pocket monster's love of sleeping. This isn't the first time the snoring bear of a Pokemon has been turned into a plush either, as last year a Snorlax Build-A-Bear was made available. Snorlax made his gaming debut by sleeping in the way of the player, so turning it into a plush for laying on just seems right. For now, these Snorlax are only available in Thailand, but demand could influence whether the plushies are released internationally. Snorlax is one of the more popular normal type Pokemon that fans have been attached to since the original Pokemon Red and Blue. The enormous plushies look true to the character's design, but the price tag is the major sticking point. The 35-inch plush costs 595 baht ($145 USD) and the 59-inch behemoth costs a staggering 22,500 baht ($700 USD).

The "small" Snorlax plus is 35 inches tall, while the larger one clocks in at a remarkable 59 inches. To capitalize on the popularity of both, Pokemon Thailand has revealed two massive Snorlax plushies that carry equally large price tags and are available for pre-order now. And when it comes to fan-favorite Pokemon, it arguably doesn't get any bigger than Snorlax. When it comes to video game world-wide popularity, it arguably doesn't get any bigger than Pokemon.
